My Ego vs Running

I've been running every day for the past 9 days without fail.

I did it by setting an embarrassingly low goal of running 1 mile every morning (I call it my 'Morning Mile').

It easily takes me less than 8 minutes to do, which sounds silly - like there's almost no point of running it at all. But the fact that I've ran every morning since creating the goal means that it actually isn't stupid. I'm healthier, happier, and more disciplined because of it.

I can't help but wonder what other actions in my life I'm not taking because my ego refuses to set the bar lower.
